Aqueous Parliamentarius

Parliament has been dissolved, paving the way for the 12th General Election.

Our chance to use this "proper channel" to speak up has finally come.

It's time to teach the corrupt and incompetent BN politicians a lesson.

BN's two-thirds majority must not be allowed to continue.

Vote for Opposition. Make the change.

Sounds like something I'd read on a DAP banner!

Sometimes one wonders if voting in elections may be an issue of choosing the lesser of two evils.

But for me it is clear that I would not hesitate to vote for the opposition

The first step is to vote and get involved in the political process.

Too many people don't vote but then complain about the system.

So, which is the lesser of the two evils? Are you sure there are only two evils? ;)

I beg to differ. One should be involved and be informed first before they vote.

The main issue at hand is that not every citizen is at all concerned of the affairs/issues of this country. Everyone should be concerned and it is not necessary that he or she has to be involved in politics or in its process.

There are some who vote blindly knowing next to nothing about the affairs of the country and thus resulting in more harm than good. Goodness gracious, these should be whipped and restrain from voting!

I know of people who are very informed but decide not to vote because of the evils which they see in all who are involved and they should not be blamed for their decision.

BTW, I think voting basing on party... can be deemed as voting blindly in certain state/constituency.

To sit on the fence is to by default vote for the status quo.

paul... well, these people are fixed in their mindset for the worst to happen. Further, they seem to think that silence does not deem as consent i.e. not a default vote. As such, when situation turns bad with the elected rep... they can say "safely" declare that they did not contribute to the "bad". Weird mentality... but who are we to judge =D
