Yup... a very good shot. You managed to capture the "serenity" of the lone lotus in its surroundings. Have it pasted on my desktop with sky-blue background. It has a calming effect =D

It's a water lily, not a lotus. Sorry for the misidentification.

ok... Water Lily it will be. Now I know the difference.
It was pointed out to me that a water lily and a lotus are not the same. I later found out that one of the easiest way to tell the difference is to look at the leaves, since the flowers look deceptively similar. Lily leaves rest on the water surface whereas lotus leaves extend on stems above the water. Cool huh?
